Mixed Media Art Class Birthday Party

Yesterday I had a lot of fun teaching an art class at a birthday party for a group of nine girls.

We did something different this time by making mixed media canvasses, using scrapbook paper, buttons, sticks, snowflakes, flowers, sequins, etc. and a whole lot of mod podge.

This is great for a party as it only requires a little instruction, some fun ideas and a whole bunch of supplies and everyone can be as creative as they like.

The girls did some really great paintings and were all very pleased and proud of their work.

A lot of the girls did Christmas paintings.

A happy birthay girl.

Love how the girls personalities come out in their art (note the tongue sticking out on this snowman :).

Even little brother got into it. With mom's help they made this darling snowman.

This is most of them. A few girls had gone home by this time.

If you would like to book an art party of your own go to for more information.
